ATTACK AIRCRAFTS

Attackers or Attack aircrafts are designed to operate in direct support of ground forces such as infantry, armoured and other fighting units. Their use is tactical not stratergical and they operate at the front of battle. Fighters are small, fast and highly maneuverable military aircrafts. Fighter aircrafts are the primary means by which armed forces gain air superiority. Basic characteristics of fighter includes high speed, capability to engage air as well as ground targets and engage in aerial combat. Fighters are used stratergically. HELICOPTERS

Helicopter is an aircraft which is lifted and propelled by one or more horizontal rotators. Helicopter drive its source of lift from rotating rotar blades which provides a lift in vertical direction and they have ability to take off and land vertically. Attack helicopters are the one which are designed to carry a range of weapons that can include rocket launchers, ATMs etc. Their primary task is to provide close support to the infantry armed units.
